The 6,500-square-foot retail building in Ocean Beach at 4836 Newport Ave., San Diego 92107, has been sold for $1.3 million, cash.

The buyer was IAC Management LLC, a California limited liability company, 10992 Cloverhurst Way, San Diego 92130.

The seller of the property (assessor’s parcel 448-301-07) was Lynne Webb, as trustee of the Wild Rose Living Trust.

Tony Franco, president of the Pacific Beach-based Franco Realty Group, a coastal commercial real estate firm, represented the buyer.

The building was constructed in 1954 on a 7,000-square-foot lot in the heart of Ocean Beach (OB), and features one of OB’s most recognizable signs.

Newport Avenue Antiques has been in business for more than 20 years and will close its doors this spring. The new ownership plans on leasing the building to one or two tenants.
